Neuromuscular Re-education
Neuromuscular re‑education helps retrain the way your muscles and nerves work together. Through gentle, guided movements and hands‑on work, we help your body release old patterns of tension, improve coordination, and restore more natural, pain‑free movement.
Cupping
When the soft tissues have remained rigid and tense for an extended time, cupping can assist with bringing circulation into those areas by mobilizing stagnant blood, lymph and interstitial fluids.

Myofascial release
Dr. Bastable uses manual therapy to gently work with the soft tissues of the body — muscles, fascia, and connective tissue. She may use only her hands, applying slow, targeted pressure and stretching to release tight or painful areas.

Lifestyle Recommendations
How you move, think, sleep, eat and breathe all contribute to how your body shows up in its expression. Dr. Bastable integrates lifestyle coaching within her care plans for longer lasting health outcomes.

Individual Care Plans
Every person is unique, with a unique life story and history of life events. Dr. Bastable actively listens to you. She offers every patient a comprehensive care plan to assist you in feeling better and more empowered in your daily life.

Craniosacral technique
With light touch at the head, spine, and sacrum, she listens to subtle rhythms in the tissues and fluids around the brain and spinal cord. By following and easing areas of restriction, this work can help release deep tension, calm the nervous system, and support relief from headaches, stress, and long‑held patterns in the body.

Somatic Release Therapy
Somatic Release Breathwork is rooted in orgonomy, the body‑mind work developed by Wilhelm Reich. In these sessions, Dr. Bastable guides you through specific breathing patterns and gentle body awareness to help soften ‘armor’ held in the muscles and nervous system. As breath and sensation deepen, long‑held tension and emotion can safely surface and release, supporting more ease, aliveness, and a clearer connection between your body, feelings, and mind.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM)
Dr. Bastable uses these instruments to feel and address areas of tightness, scar tissue, or restriction that may be limiting movement or causing pain. By stimulating circulation and helping break up adhesions, IASTM can reduce stiffness, support tissue healing, and improve flexibility so everyday movement feels easier and more comfortable.

Geriatric Chiropractic Care
Dr. Bastable provides gentle, low‑force chiropractic care tailored to the needs of older adults. She uses softer adjusting methods and careful positioning to reduce stress on joints that may be affected by arthritis or spinal degeneration. Sessions focus on easing chronic pain, improving mobility, and supporting balance and confidence in daily activities. Her goal is to help the geriatric population stay as comfortable, steady, and independent as possible, while respecting each person’s unique health history and limits.
